A white-collar woman in Xiamen, Fujian, has started wearing a motorcycle helmet to work to protect her face from computer radiation.

The woman, surnamed Lin, works for an IT company and spends about 10 hours a day in front of a computer screen. Two years ago Lin operated a cyber bar by herself and had to take care of the business at night, which prolonged her exposure to computers. Last year Lin noticed a large dark stain had started to grow on her face.
Doctors said it could have been caused by computer radiation. Lin tried wearing veils, scarves and masks, but finally decided that a motorcycle helmet was the best choice because it would be thick enough but not block her view.
