Chinese boy almost dies from favorite cartoon
A 4-year-old Shanghai boy who swung from a clotheshorse on the seventh floor just for fun was saved by his neighbors on Tuesday.
The boy was seen dangling in the air at 1 pm, scaring his neighbors. They immediately called the police and laid thick quilts on the ground in case the boy suddenly dropped. Others rushed to the boy’s home. The boy was pulled to safety after some neighbors broke into the locked room after about five minutes.
The boy, a cartoon fan who was left at home alone, said later that he was copying the stunts in the cartoon series Outman.
