13.8 Pound baby now biggest ever in China

Zhao Xiaoju (27 years old) gave birth to a 13.8 pound baby in Fengtai Hospital of Beijing, to become the heaviest baby born in China ever. Currently, both mother and baby are well.

Zhao is a conductor of the No.702 bus in Beijing, and she is 265 pounds heavy.

“Giant babies are usually the result of excessive nutrition, heredity or diabetes,” said Tu Jinghui, vice director of the department of gynecology and obstetrics of Fengtai Hospital.
