Policeman saves woman by her ankle

A woman was inches away from death last Thursday, after a quick-thinking policeman caught her by the ankle as she threw herself off a building.

The drama occurred in a Macao apartment after a 36-year-old mainland woman had a huge quarrel with her Macanese husband.

She sat on the railing in the corridor outside her home and refused to come down. Before the firemen arrived the woman suddenly leapt, but a policeman was able to catch her timely.
