China man fools police to catch a ride

Two policemen did not know whether to laugh or cry when they were told the man they wanted to drive home just wanted to take a ride in their police car in the city of Xinmi, Henan, on Wednesday.

The two policemen immediately arrived on the scene after they received reports a man was drunk in the city’s Beihuan Road.

They carried the man, surnamed Li, to their police car, but as they began driving he kept on getting his home address wrong.

After the police car went round in a circle several times, Li told the policemen he in fact just wanted to ride in the car.
