Burglar Mouse steals $1,250

A migrant worker named Wang Youquan in Shanghai was about to return home to Anhui province together with his wife when he suddenly discovered all his money was missing.

The money added up to 10,000 yuan ($1,250) and the couple planned to gave it to their parents as a New Year gift.

Wang had bound the money with several layers of paper and hid it under the bed.

The couple planned to report the loss to police, but then the wife heard the squeak of a mouse. The couple then thought the mouse might have dragged away the money. They eventually found the money in the mouse hole.
