Japanese create humidifier for tiny homes

Japan probably has the smallest living quarters of any place i have ever lived. Not only are the places and rooms very small but they are also poorly insulated and often get very dry in winter.

Humidifiers are typically rather large and take up too much space for the average home in Japan so more than one person will be happy to see that this new plastic bottle humidifier now on sale.

This simple, compact humidifier costs about 2000 yen (less than $20) and uses an ordinary half-liter water bottle turned upside-down as the source of its steam.
