US Department of Treasury prints dollar for Chinese

The Chinese Lunar New Year is coming up. The U.S. Department of Treasury printed total 68,888 bills ($1.00 and $20.00) of limited edition lucky money for Chinese people in America.

The New Year is so called “Golden Pig Year” which will bring the auspicious. Each bill started with number 8888, in Chinese, sound of 8 means “get richer.”
