Chinese Roaches… Terror or New Pet?
January 15, 2007 | by Mui Mui

These roaches have became the new popular pet in China, especially for the white collar ladies. They sell for about $12.50 each. They say this type of roach was originally from America, and were imported to Chong Qing city earlier this month and soon became very popular.

The roaches have no wings and are pretty buff looking, around 3-4 centimeters long. They’ve all been sanitized before selling.

“They’re fun and friendly, like to craw on your hands, you only feed them with fruits and vegetables.”  One girl says.
