Proof of Love through Notary

A notary office in Nanchang, capital of Jiangxi Province, rejected a young man’s request to notarize his love pledge to his girlfriend last week.

The young man, Liu, fell in love with a girl from a poor family two years ago. But the financial gap between the two families caused

both sides of parents to disapprove. Even so, Liu wrote lines of love vows and planned to have them notarized. The notary office said it refused to handle the case because it was impractical to guarantee words of intangibility.

Well, my spouse sent me a notarized letter certified mail to tell me she was taking our son on vacation… is that okay?
