Recently, a dark restaurant was opened in Beijin, China. Customers are not allowed to use flashlight or any glow in the dark accessories in there. Besides the kitchen and bathroom area, the whole restaurant is practically pitch black.

Customers will be seated by a trained employee who wears night goggles. Once you’re in the seat, you’ll need waiters assistance to go anywhere inside of the restaurant. Many customers found dinning in this dark environment was very exciting and unique.

While your enjoying your delicious meal, the restaurant also provide a dark show such as telling a spooky story, just to add more excitement to the whole experience.

The dark restaurants are initially a project of the Blind-Liecht (Swiss German for blind-light) foundation. The foundation works to create employment opportunities for blind and visually impaired people.
