Inflation hits “Free Hug” campaign

Previously, we reported how the Chinese government was not too keen on this “Hugging Campaign” and decided to break it up.

Well it would seem that is not going to turn these hug lovers away from their mission. Now in an effort to continue the cause they have decided to charge 1 Yuan for 10 seconds of hugging. Apparently the issue was that the hugs were free.

The characters on the poster read “One yuan for ten seconds hug. Refuse coldness”.

Moral of the Story: You cannot give away love in China, you can only sell it!
