Police are investigating an alleged robbery in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, which has left a suspect undergoing treatment in hospital after he urinated on a mains switch causing burns and electric shock.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, the injured man and a second man allegedly entered a power supply office and stole equipment.

But before they left, one of the men urinated on the mains switch, causing electric shock. A duty officer called police, taking the injured man to hospital while the other man is in custody.  (中国日报)
