Pickpocket steals a conscience

(中国日报) – A pickpocket has returned a mobile phone to its owner after being deeply moved by his story.

The university student from Chengdu, Sichuan Province, recorded one of his mother’s songs as a ring tone for his mobile phone before her death.

The student sent the thief text messages begging him not to delete the song, saying he would continue to pay for the phone if the song was kept.

Days later, the thief returned the phone to the student in person.
