Parents make “Matchmaking Corner” for their kids

Parents in Tianjin have spontaneously created a “Matchmaking Corner” in the city’s Central Park to find boy or girl friends for their adult children.

Every morning from 9 am, parents from all parts of the city gather in the park and talk to each other, hoping to find the ideal Mr or Miss Rights for their children.

They talk about their children’s occupation, character, interests, health, habits or even whether parents have time and energy to look after grandchildren.

Some parents write on boards their children’s profiles and requirements for future husbands or wives.

You know what parents??? You guys should really back away from your kids and let them live the life they want to live, not the life you created for them.

Isn't this what all parents everywhere do anyways? I've had grammas not my own try to set me up with girls they weren't related to, either. The children are adults, they can choose how much sway their parents have in their lives.
