More than 30,000 coins, weighing about 75 kilograms, were delivered to a court in Shanghai on Monday, to cover a 3,000-yuan (US$379) debt.

The court had demanded repeatedly that the debtor, Zhu, clear his debt.
When Zhu’s family delivered the coins, the court had to seek help from a nearby bank to count them all; four bank staffers started counting at 10:30 am, and four more joined in the afternoon to help finish before closing time.
